![]() SOS Dott: bridging language gap in medical emergenciesA new Euroteam web application based on artificial intelligence saves lives in Tunisia SOS Dott is a new AI-based service designed by EUROTEAM. Its goal: to save the lives of those who don't speak the local language and are therefore unable to call for help in a medical emergency. The first version was created for the more than 7,000 Italian residents and retirees—3-4 die from this problem each year—but it can also be useful for the many tourists who vacation in this country every year. The SOS Dott app allows those in danger to call for help 24/7 via their cell phone, sending their GPS location, and to communicate with operators even without speaking French. Those with allergies or pre-existing conditions can also document them in a medical record, which guides doctors in providing first aid even if the patient is unconscious or in shock. H24MARKETING, which promoted this project, has also agreed with local clinics participating in this initiative to offer immediate hospitalization without a deposit. SOS Dott, a universal model Although it began with the Italian community in Tunisia, this AI application is designed to be extended globally. It is an essential tool for any country with a high tourist or expatriate population, where language barriers remain a significant risk to human life.
